It was interesting to me to know Sally Field was n ot always a dramatic actor & had to fight for the part, and how much resistance there was by nearly everyone except the writer & Joanne Woodward. The 1976 TV movie Sybil starred Sally Field as a woman with Multiple Personality Syndrome. The movie is fictionalized, and most of the 2nd DVD is about casting and production. There is also an interview with a close friend of "sybil's" who gives us insight into the real person. There is obvious variety of styles, and these were done before "Sybil" met Dr Wilbur. The second DVD shows all 83 "lost" pieces of art that were found and not sold after "Sybil's" death. The VHS got lost and when I tried to replace it, all I could find were edited versions missing crucial scenes. I also am excited because I had to tape the original version off TV to get the full, uncut movie. I absolutely love this movie because it shows a woman going through hardships I cannot even imagine, and overcoming them. An unedited version of a truly remarkable movie
